I began Cocoa Butter Diaries in May 2015 to highlight my ability to mix high and low fashion pieces.  At first, I was using Instagram and my personal Facebook page as a “personal style diary” to show off my outfits and share my most recent fashion finds with my friends.  That led to me starting my own personal styling business as well as I truly enjoy putting together outfits for myself as well as for my clients and friends. I hope that my blog inspires YOU to mix and match designer items with fast fashion and to wear whatever you feel like – because that’s what personal style is all about!

My style is classic, simple, and always comfortable.  My favorite places to shop are ASOS, Forever 21, and Zara (just to name a few).  Don’t get me wrong! I do love designer pieces as well so you’ll see those on here too. But these are the brands I feature most frequently in my blog posts because of the affordable and on-trend style options.  I also don’t shop a lot either – gasp – so you may see a lot of items on repeat.  I’m a regular gal with bills, student loans, and a monthly budget so I can’t afford to buy new clothes all the time.

I was born and raised in San Francisco but I currently live in the Bay Area with my mini schnauzer, Dexter (and I’m just a tiny bit obsessed with him).
