Hey y’all! Happy Tuesday!

I know that normally I post on Mondays but I didn’t have time on Sunday or yesterday to write. I worked all day Sunday and slept in until 10am on Monday. Obviously I needed sleep lol. Anyways, let’s talk about these fab outfits because y’all got things to do today (and, frankly, so do I).

When I first laid eyes on this Sandro sweatshirt, I knew I had to have it. Oversized, the perfect shade of pink, and the fun star pattern…yaaaas! It was in the men’s section but was described as unisex on their website. That’s why I chose to do a “boyish” and “girly” look with it. See what I did there?

With the “boy” look, I chose my favorite Levis, white sneakers, and my Yankees hat that brought out the blue from my vintage Gucci crossbody bag. I loved this look so much that I wore it RV shopping with Papa CCB last weekend. To add extra warmth since this sweater is not super heavy, I layered with a plain white long sleeve tee. Sometimes simplicity is best. I chose blue jeans this time but grey, black, or olive green/khaki (my personal favorite color to pair with blush pink) pants would look great as well. And, if you’re feeling bold, camo pants would be fun with this sweater too. A little print mixing never hurt.

For the girly look, I thought I’d pair the blush pink with burgundy. I knew I wanted to wear it as a dress somehow but not just in a “throw some shorts under it and wear it with boots” way. I decided to layer the sweater with my favorite shirt dress from ASOS that I’ve had for years. And I decided to bring in the burgundy using my beloved Zara satin boots from last fall. Plus, I’m glad I got to wear knee high boots one more time before it’s too warm for them. Until fall, my boot babies!

To accessorize my unisex look, I incorporated my vintage Gucci crossbody bag. For those of you who don’t follow me on Instagram (you should though because I’m really funny on stories), here’s how this bag became mine. One random Sunday morning, I went into Mama CCB’s room to borrow a striped shirt because she has a lot of them. Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted this bag. She said she found it at Goodwill 25 years ago and never wore it. Whaaaaaaat?! But here’s the kicker: she was going to give it away. Seriously. I, of course, offered to take it off her hands and make use of it. And now she’s mine. Isn’t she purty?!
Would you like to see more multiple ways to wear one item blog posts like this one? Or even more unisex outfit ideas? Let me know! I had a lot of fun styling these looks.
Have a great rest of your week!
xoxo, CCB
